Domaine du Chalet Pouilly received 90/100 for the Pouilly-Fuissé 2012.

Bottled at the end of February, and raised in 15% new oak, the 2012 Pouilly Fuissé offers very good intensity on the nose with lightly brushed acacia honey, hints of nougat and citrus fruit, perhaps a little richer than the 2013. The palate is well-balanced and slightly honeyed with hints of hazelnut and smoke coming through. It has a very well-balanced, quite deep finish, although I suspect that the 2013 may have great persistency and tension.
